Aware Recovery Care (ARC) provides innovative and intensive home-based addiction treatment in Connecticut for a full year. ARC assigns each client a multi-disciplinary team led by an addiction psychiatrist and walks with clients and loved ones to help them learn the daily habits and skills necessary for long term recovery.
The team is made of of a Registered Addiction Nurse, a LMFT for family systems work, a Certified Recovery Advisor who is age matched and gender matched, and a licensed therapist. The visiting team utilizes evidence based practices coupled with extensive personal and professional experience to provide a model of recovery that allows people to “Recover where they live”.
ARC services are unique, private, convenient, and comfortable — but most importantly they are effective. The model is based on the latest research in addiction medicine showing that people who receive SUD care over the course of a full year experience much lower rates of relapse and are significantly more likely to attain sustained recovery. ARC can serve as an option prior to, in lieu of, or in addition to traditional treatments.
