Robert DiRoma, LMSW, LADC
Therapist | Drug & Alcohol Counselor
Substance and alcohol abuse affect a multitude of people in addition to the person using, including family, friends, and loved ones. Robert specializes in treating all individuals affected by addiction and mental illness. He obtained a Master’s Degree in Social Work from New York University, became a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and worked in various alcohol and drug facilities, where he gained the necessary skills, techniques and experience to build a strong therapeutic alliance with clients. Among other treatments, Robert provides CBT, long term dynamic therapy, and trauma focused approaches in dealing with childhood, teen and adult development.
While Robert has spent the past decade working with substance abuse victims, his passion is working with clients who are diagnosed with acute mental health disorders. Robert also works with the friends, family members, and loved ones of those suffering from substance abuse and mental illness.
